    FEATURE FRIDAY: COLOR SPECTRUMS

This is the final Feature Friday focused on color. Today our designers are highlighting spectrums of color from Concord & 9th's color collection—whether it's the full 24-color spectrum or a color spectrum of their own design. Check out what makes our ink and paper a cut above; then see how our guest designers use them to create inspired works of art. When you've created your own works of colorful art using our color collection, share them on social media using the hashtag

    WHY OUR INK?

Ink Pads | Ink Cubes | Ink Refills

Our premium dye ink uses the latest in ink formulates for vibrant, fast-drying color; our pads and cubes use extra firm foam pads, resulting in crisper images with more even coverage. All of this adds up to stamping fun instead of stamping fails! In addition, our ink products are acid-free and made in the USA.

    BECKY ROBERTS - @INKINGIDAHO

    Buttercup | Stardust | Cranberry | Peacock | Oceanside | Aqua Sky

Becky created a spectrum of primary colors moving from yellows (Buttercup and Stardust) to red (Cranberry) to blues (Peacock, Oceanside, and Aqua Sky)—light to dark to light.

    CARISSA WILEY - @CARISSAWILEY

    Parsley | Buttercup | Sprout | Stardust | Honeysuckle | Grapefruit | Peacock

Instead of the conventional superbright rainbow, Carissa has created a gorgeous, almost pastel-like rainbow by tempering the brighter colors with lighter, more subtle shades.

    DANA JOY - @MZDANAJOY

    Poppy | Sorbet | Buttercup | Sprout | Aqua Sky | Peacock

Dana may have created the happiest happy birthday card ever with this bright rainbow of colors! Note how even though she's only used six colors, it's enough to give you the feeling of a complete ROYGBIV color spectrum.

    ERICA AB - @ERICA_CACACRAFT

The Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Something you may have noticed about Erica is that she's "ca-ca"-crazy about color! Here she created her own designer paper by piecing together thin strips of all 24 colors of our cardstock, and then die cutting "hello" from it, making a really fun and colorful greeting! She also used "mini" spectrums to make little rainbows using the Rainbow Turnabout™ Stamp Set. Pure happiness!

    JANA MILLEN - @JANAMILLEN

The Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Jana created angled stripes using 22 of our cardstock colors—and then took it to the next level by changing the angle, giving her card front a definite focal point highlighted by the use of the black and white circles and the Hey Bestie sentiment. This is sure to be one of your favorites too!

    JEFF LINDBERG - @MRJEFFLINDBERG

The Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Jeff has demonstrated several ways to use a paper-pieced block of colors: as an accent at the bottom of a card front; as the background of an open cutout; and the background of a less open cutout. He's also used them with three different colors of cardstock showing how versatile a color spectrum is!

    JESSICA FROST-BALLAS - @JESSICAFROSTBALLAS

    Honeysuckle | Cranberry | Poppy |Grapefruit | Marmalade | Buttercup | Sprout | Parsley | Sea Glass | Aqua Sky | Oceanside | Peacock | Midnight | Eggplant

Jessica takes us on a journey through a winter wonderland with this dazzling display of colorful holiday trees! Want to make your own darling display? Check out the Take a Bough Dies!

    JUSTINE HOVEY - @JUSTINEHOVEY

The Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Justine used the color spectrum in a different way: by die cutting single letters and hearts from each color of cardstock. The result is a delightful birthday greeting that shows a lot of heart—and color!

    LAURA BASSEN - @LAURAFADORA

    Honeysuckle | Poppy | Sorbet | Grapefruit | Stardust | Buttercup | Sprout | Parsley | Sea Glass | Aqua Sky | Oceanside | Peacock

Laura takes us on a virtual tropical vacation with this beautiful flower lei! She shows how you don't need to use all 24 colors to cover a full spectrum of colors from the pinks and reds to yellows to greens to blues.

    LINDSEY LARSEN - @OCCASIONALCRAFTING

    Honeysuckle | Poppy | Marmalade | Buttercup | Parsley | Oceanside

Lindsey created some darling bookmarks covering a basic color spectrum: red, orange, yellow, green, blue (and a touch of pink for good measure). Each is adorable in its own right; together, they're gorg!

    LYDIA FIEDLER - @UNDERSTANDBLUE

The Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Lydia's designer backdrop is magnificent using all 24 of Concord & 9th's colors! She has pieced them all together on a white background, then cut out a hexagonal centerpiece to highlight the sentiment. Stunning!

    SEEKA - @SKYPAPERSCISSORS

The Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Seeka demonstrates how a bright spectrum of color can be softened with some vellum and white embossing using the Grateful for Everything Stamp Set. The use of white cardstock and the graceful font of the sentiment further establishes the delicate mood of this sweet card.

    TENIA NELSON - @TENIANELSON

Full Concord & 9th Color Spectrum

Tenia had fun with ink on her Love You card doing a bit of ink splattering with 21 of our 22 ink colors! She used the 22nd color (Wheat) on the cardstock hearts. The result is like a magical piece of abstract art—all the colors working together, with no single color standing out above another.

    WANDA GUESS - @STAMPCATWG

    Honeysuckle | Sorbet | Buttercup | Aqua Sky | Parsley | Oceanside | Eggplant

Can you get over how exquisite this card is? Wanda used the Hexagon Designer Dies along with a beautiful spectrum of cardstock colors to paper piece the flowers for an inspiring tiled effect.
