We may not quite be ready to let go of summer, but that doesn't mean we're not ready to craft away during those cozy autumn days and crisp fall nights with our August release! Along with the new release comes three new guest designers–Amanda Rochaix, Keisha Charles, and Rachel Arribas. We are all in for a treat with the amazing cards and other projects these ladies have made! This week we're sharing what they've created using the Celebration Squad Bundle and Thankful Scripty Sayings Dies. Keep scrolling to see the cards as well as to learn more about the cardmakers!
AMANDA ROCHAIX
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a dog mom to a fluffy rescue named Bandit (and the reason I have to edit dog hair out of my photos haha), and a wife to my husband, Alex. After moving across the country from our home state of Michigan in 2019, my husband and I now live in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington. If I'm not making my craft room look like a couple tornadoes have blown through it, you can find me curled up on the couch reading a book or binge watching tv.
My love for cardmaking began around the holidays in 2019 when I was feeling homesick and I watercolored a handful of Christmas cards for my family. From there, I stumbled upon Kristina Werner’s Youtube channel, and the rest is history. In 2020, I took the leap into stamping and die cutting and I found Concord & 9th. Concord & 9th is one of my favorite companies–their style and products just get me (as you can tell if you look at my instagram feed haha), and I’m so very honored to be guest designing with them again this month!
KEISHA CHARLES
My name is Keisha Charles and I adore crafting…sometimes too much. I’m currently a maker for Simon Says Stamp, Tim Holtz brands, Honey Bee Stamps and Gina K. Designs. I’ve had the honor of guest-designing for several other crafting companies and thrilled to spend this month with Concord and 9th.
I’ve been married for 17 years and crafting for all of that time with the help of my cat Honey Charles until 2020. I've always loved paper...in all forms cards, books, magazines. In 2006, after doing wedding and other stationery for friends and family casually, I discovered scrapbooking and the obsession was kicked into high gear.
The PaperMint is my craft room and retreat. It allows me to bring together two loves, sharing handmade papercrafts with people who appreciate it, and teaching "the craft" to those who want to make their ownI’m Raquel, I work as a full-time librarian in Madrid, Spain. I’m a wife and a mother of two wonderful, amazing kids.
I’ve always loved creating stories and organizing parties until I started making cards. It’s been almost four years since I made my first project.
I love to spend my afternoons crafting and listening to music when I come home from work.
Over these past years I’ve met so many amazing artists in the crafting community from which I have learned a lot. Among all the techniques I’ve tried my all-time favorite is ink blending. That’s mainly because I love mixing and matching colors and trying out new color blends because I believe everything is about color.
