Meet Daniel West, the self-assured Copic expert and card-making extraordinaire. Since 2018, Daniel has been designing for big-shot crafting companies (they are all big-shots aren’t they?), conquering social media under the handle @delandartie, writing a blog at https://delandartie.com, and even gracing the YouTube scene.  With his infectious enthusiasm and knack for turning everyday supplies into stunning works of art, Daniel West is on a mission to color inside the lines and inspire crafters everywhere to unleash their inner creativity, one handmade card at a time. When he's not busy melting hearts and embossing powder - Daniel is loving his wife and three young adult kids and pastoring a community of faith in Providence, Rhode Island.

I have been married for 29 years and am the mother of three grown children and about to be a grandmother any day now. I have lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 22 years. 

 

Card making is my hobby, but even more than that, my therapy. I love learning new techniques and trying new products. I am always trying to incorporate rainbow colors in all of my projects, but also just enjoy brighter colored cards. 

 

My day job for the past 10 years has been a Client Manager/Parole Officer for juveniles, so when I say card making is my therapy, I mean it. It allows me that escape from the hard part of my job.
