It’s the first October Feature Friday and we’re super duper excited to be welcoming three new guest designers–Amanda Rochaix, Seeka, and Veronica Zalis! This week these crafty ladies have put our brand new All-in-One Turnabout™ Jig to good use as they’ve created cards using the THREE Turnabouts in this month’s release, the Exclamations Bundle, the In the Meadow Bundle, and the Picnic Plaid Turnabout™. Check out their designs below and learn how. to use the All-in-One Turnabout™ Jig!
AMANDA ROCHAIX
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a dog mom to an adorable, fluffy rescue named Bandit (and the reason I have to edit dog hair out of my photos haha), and a wife to my husband, Alex. After moving across the country from our home state of Michigan in 2019, my husband and I now live in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington.
My love for cardmaking began around the holidays in 2019 when I was feeling homesick and I watercolored a handful of Christmas cards for my family. From there, I stumbled upon Kristina Werner’s Youtube channel, and the rest was history. In 2020, I took the leap into stamping and die cutting and I found Concord & 9th (thank you, Kristina!). Concord & 9th is by far one of my favorite companies–their style and products just get me (as you can tell if you look at my instagram feed haha), and I’m so very honored to be guest designing this month.
SEEKA
Hi everyone, it’s Seeka and I’m so excited to be here!
By day I’m a digital product manager in the San Francisco Bay Area and by night, I’m an ink-covered card maker. I found my way into card making in 2017 when I was looking for a way to de-stress from work. I'd never been crafty, but I’d always loved handwriting and paper so I thought I’d try hand lettering. While searching for videos on calligraphy I came across card-making videos and I was instantly hooked! It's still hard for me to believe that in just a few years' time I've gotten to meet and make many crafty friends. So, while card making started as a stress-relieving hobby for me, it evolved into finding a community that I'm so grateful to be a part of!

VERONICA ZALIS
My name is Veronica and I live in central Virginia. I am the mother of three humans, three budgies, and one miniature schnauzer. I have been a card maker for 18 years. In addition to stamping I collect vintage 80’s toys, and also American art pottery from the early to mid 1900’s. I love the friendships and connections I have made because of my stamping. I am very excited to be joining Concord and 9th again as a guest designer!
