Create a card with the Academy color palette featuring the soft and gorgeous green: Pistachio!
SUPPLIES
- Mod Turnabout™ Stamp
- Hello & Thanks Dies
- Nectar, Pimento, Stardust, Pistachio, Sea Glass and Midnight inks
- Pistachio, Midnight and White cardstock
- All-In-One Turnabout™ Jig
- MISTI or other stamp positioning tool
- Neutral Sequins Assortment
- Liquid Adhesive
- Washi Tape or dry erase marker
- Baby wipe or damp rag
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut White cardstock panel to 4-¼” x 5-½”.
- Set up the Mod Turnabout™ in the MISTI Stamping tool. Once the stamp is aligned and ready, place the White cardstock panel onto the Turnabout™ Jig with the 1 in the top right position.
- Using Pistachio ink, stamp the Turnabout twice to ensure a crisp image.
- Clean your stamp and rotate the jig so that position 2 is in the top right corner.
- Position 2 will be done in Nectar and Pimento inks.
- Using the dry erase marker (or washi tape), place a mark on the outside of the MISTI door above any part of the stamp that will be Pimento. This will identify what parts of the stamp will be in Nectar and what parts will be in Pimento.
- Ink up the sections of the stamp that are not marked with Nectar ink. If some of the nectar ink gets on the part of the stamp that is marked use a damp rag or baby wipe to remove the ink. Repeat this process to double stamp for a crisp image.
- Clean the stamp and keep the Jig in the same position with number 2 at the top right corner.
- Ink the sections of the stamp that are marked with Pimento ink. If some of the Pimento ink gets onto the part of the stamp that is not marked, use a damp rag or baby wipe to remove the ink. Repeat this process to double stamp for a crisp image.
- Clean the stamp and rotate the Jig to position 3.
- Using Stardust ink, stamp the Turnabout twice to ensure a crisp image.
- Clean the stamp and rotate the Jig to position 4.
- Repeat steps 7-9 using Sea Glass and Midnight inks.
- Remove the stamped panel from the Jig and trim it to 5” x 3-¾”
- Create the sentiment by cutting the shadow die from the Hello & Thanks Dies in both White and Midnight cardstock.
- Cut the Hello word from Pistachio cardstock.
- Adhere the Pistachio word to the white shadow die. Then adhere this element to the Midnight shadow die slightly offset.
- Glue the sentiment piece to the stamped panel.
- Create an A2 card base by folding an 8-½”x 5-½” piece of midnight cardstock in half. Glue the stamped panel to the center of the card base.
- Add sequins as desired.
