We have a little birthday card inspiration to share with you today featuring the new Exclamations Turnabout™ Stamp Set and coordinating Exclamations Dies. What’s really great about this particular card is that it works for just about anyone and it’s super easy to mass produce!
Here's what you'll need!
- MISTI or another stamping platform
- Die cutting machine
- The Exclamations Bundle
- White Glitter Paper
- Cardstock in the following colors: Honeysuckle, Poppy, Grapefruit, Buttercup, Parsley, Aqua Sky, Oceanside, Peacock and White
- Black Ink
- Various adhesives
- Eight 4.25” x 5.5” white card bases
Start with the die cutting!
- 8 ‘happy birthday to you’ greetings in White cardstock
- 8 sentiment shadows in Black cardstock
- 8 scripty ‘happy’ sentiments in White Glitter paper
- 8 exclamation marks in White Glitter paper
- 8 shadow exclamation marks in Black cardstock
- 1 ‘birthday’ sentiment cut from each of the following colors of cardstock: Honeysuckle, Poppy, Grapefruit, Buttercup, Parsley, Aqua Sky, Oceanside, and Peacock
- 3 star clusters from Honeysuckle, Poppy, Grapefruit, Buttercup, Parsley, Aqua Sky, Oceanside, and Peacock cardstock
Now piece together the sentiments!
- Adhere the White ‘happy birthday to you’ greetings to the Black shadow pieces.
- Sort the eight different individual ‘birthday’ sentiments into eight multi-color sentiments with one letter in each color; attach to the larger greetings.
- Center the scripty ‘happy’ sentiments above birthday and below the larger happy; attach using liquid glue.
- Piece together the the exclamation marks.
Next, create the card base!
- Cut White cardstock to 5.5” x 8.5”. Score at 4.5" and fold in half.
- Using your MISTI, stamp the Exclamations Turnabout™ one time on the front of each card base..
Finally, assemble the cards!
- Adhere 2-3 stars in each color around the base, leaving room in the middle for the greeting.
- Attach the exclamation marks directly to the base at a slight angle.
- Adhere the greetings to the center card using foam tape.
Now you have a full set of fun cards ready and waiting to spread those birthday wishes to friends and family alike!
