Yep - another guest designer! If you are not already following Kay Miller, you should go do that right now! Her talent for card making is top notch! You can find Kay on Instagram under @kaym2015 or on her beautiful blog, My Joyful Moments. Here is a little bit about Kay:
Hi, I’m Kay Miller. I’ve been in love with stamping and card making for over 20 years. I am currently living a long time dream of mine, creating for several of my favorite stamp companies. I live in Missouri with my wonderful husband, two great kids, and lots of furry friends. Along with my love of card making, I also enjoy creating Christmas ornaments from Polymer clay, digital scrapbooking, photography, and long walks outside with the doggies. I am beyond excited to be guest designing for Concord & 9th!
Kay used our new Layers of Love stamp set & Layers of Love die (also sold as a bundle) to create this STUNNING card. Just looking at it speaks for itself! Now go run, don't walk, over to Kay's blog and start following her if you want to be inspired. We sure are!
We would like to extend a big welcome to Yuki! We've have LOVED following her talent on Instagram @handmadebyyuki and find her fantastic blog, Handmade by Yuki, very inspiring so we invited her to guest design for us this month. Here is a little bit about Yuki:
We are so excited to be featured over on the Simon Says Stamp blog today! The post features our new Layers of Love stamp set & die. Head over to the SSS blog to see the full card, read about how the designs for these products came about, and for a list of instructions and supplies for making the card. THANK YOU Simon Says Stamp for the fun feature! We love it!
We are SO excited to announce that we have teamed up with A Blog Named Hero, and their talented Design Team, to showcase Concord & 9th products along with Hero Arts products! Be sure to click over to their blog for a chance to participate in a challenge, and be entered to win a PRIZE from Concord & 9th!
We thought we'd play along with the #2015BestNine happening on Instragram right now. We looked up our IG posts that got the most 'likes' in 2015 (the 5 months we were in business) and put them all together to see in one glance.
It's fun to see a mixture of cards, products, guest designers and reposts making the top of the list. THANKS for all the likes! We have loved watching our following grow & appreciate each of you!
This will be our 3rd time sponsoring CASology! If you are not sure what that is, hop on over to their blog to find out. It's a fun 'challenge' with a new keyword each Tuesday. You then create a CAS (clean & simple) card to go along with the keyword. The design team shows their inspiring cards, along with the keyword, to get you started. It's so fun to see what everyone comes up with. You should join the fun!
We are excited to introduce another guest designer for December, Yoonsun Hur! She runs a blog over at Rejoicing Crafts that you need to check out. We saw her Instagram right when we started as a company and were hooked on her clean and colorful style.
Here is a little bit about Yoonsun:
Hello Everyone! I’m Yoonsun Hur a South Korean-born Australian and I currently live in Sydney with my gorgeous husband. I am still learning and enjoying true Australian culture.
I love being creative!! I really love making cards with various and awesome stuff such as stamps, inks, die cuts, paper punches and many more. I have been working as a Graphic designer since 2000 and this career has helped me in many ways when designing cards. I endlessly want to make various attempts and share my creativity with you.
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
For Written in the Stars, Yoonsun created this gorgeous piece. The painted ombré sky against the embossed clouds makes for the perfect backdrop for this sweet sentiment.
