Please help us welcome Marybeth Lopez as a guest designer for us this month! We came across a few projects she created using Concord & 9th products under the hashtag #concordand9th. We were really impressed by her clean style so we invited her to create projects with our October new release.
Here is a little more about Marybeth in her own words:
Hi, my name is Marybeth Lopez, I was born and raised in California. I have been blessed in my marriage of 40 years ( I did marry very young :) mother of 4 grown children 3 daughters 1 son, and grandmother to 12 grandchildren!
I love all paper crafts, gardening, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, holiday decorating, and baking. I have loved anything to do with paper crafts for as long as I can remember, it just makes me happy . Funny how paper crafting can do that for you. For the most part my style is Clean and Simple but I love to change it up as well. What a blessing this crafting community has been !
We live at the foothills of Southern California with our German Shepard: Major….So the nest is not quite empty yet. He is one amazing life guard as he thinks it’s his job to make sure the kids are safe in the pool.
I was beyond excited when I received an email from Angie asking if I would like to be a guest designer for Concord & 9th I love this new company and said yes right away!
For Marybeth's first project with us this month, she used our new Perfectly Penned stamp set and Happy Card Frame dies to create this pretty card/envelope gift set! We love how she has used the small flower & the sentiment "from me to you" from the Perfectly Penned triple alphabet set to go along with the floral die cut piece in Happy Card Frame dies.
And, if you know us, you know that we don't think envelopes should be naked! We love that Marybeth embossed the small floral piece on the flap of each envelope to match the card inside.
Adding the die cut to the vellum belly-band is a great way to bind/wrap the package of cards together. It makes the package feel extra special!
Be sure to head over the Marybeth's blog, Marybeth's Time for Paper, for more details on how this gift set came together, and follow her inspiring Instagram feed @marybethstimeforpaper! You'll be happy you did!
Marybeth will be back with us again later this month. Stay tuned for more!
