We are excited to have Jessica Kim as our of our April guest designers. She will be sharing with us multiple times this month using products from our April new release! She is a very talented crafter (especially for only cardmaking for 9 months now!) and we are really excited to see what she creates with Concord & 9th goodies!
Here is a little more about Jessica in her own words:
Hi Everyone, My name is Jessica and I am super excited to be guest on Concord&9th! I loved crafting ever since I was young but I didn't start making cards until recently because I knew I would spend so much money and time on it. But last year I got into stamping and now it's been 9 month since I started cardmaking. Now, I am in love with stamping and I am so happy there is a welcoming crafting community :)
Today Jessica is starting us off using our Many Mandalas Bundle! The bundle includes our Many Mandalas stamp set + Many Mandalas dies, but sold together at a discounted price! Jessica has embossed her little heart out on these cards!
This first card looks so sophisticated & fancy using gold embossing on dark cardstock! Jessica did a fabulous job building the mandalas with the stamp set, and adding in the little bitty images in-between the big mandalas. Those little images really help fill in the card for an overall embossed card front! And, diecutting the 'thank you' with the die on vellum paper is a great way to not hide all that embossing!
This next card is also gold embossed, but on a bright red card stock! Take a look at that diecut scalloped banner edge! It comes from our Select-A-Size Edge dies! If you are unfamiliar with these dies, you need to watch the VIDEO to see all the possibilities with it! We also love that Jessica stamped the bottom half of her card to create mandalas, but in tone-on-tone so it's subtle! Recognize that THANKS? It's from our Give Thanks stamp set! We love seeing people mix & match our stamp sets!
Fabulous cards Jessica!
Be sure you head over to Jessica's blog, JNI Creative, for more details on these cards & be sure to leave her fun comments while you are there - especially as a newbie!
Don't forget to follow her on Instagram @jnicreative too!
Jessica will be back with us more this month! Keep watching! :)
