FEATURE FRIDAY: Welcome June Guest Designers

YAY for Friday! Friday means it is time to feature our June 2017 guest designers! This month we are lucky to have Barb Engler, Rosali Bartz and Lisa Addesa showcasing projects using our June 2017 new release productsEach of these talented ladies will be showcasing products from our new release, on the same day, with the same products. We thought this would be a fun way to show you how versatile the products can be!
In this first post we will not only show you their projects using our Hope Bundle (which is our Hope stamp set and Hope Label dies), and our Flower Turnabout stamp set, but also have you get to know each of the guests a little better with little bio's of each of them! So, let's get started!
First up is Barb Engler @bdengler4:
Here is a little more about Barb in her own words:
Hi there!

My name is Barb Engler and I have lived in Minnesota all my life. I've been married for almost 29 years and we have two wonderful boys, ages 22 and 26. I used to work at a floral shop in a small grocery store and was there for 32 years. I retired a year and a half ago and am really enjoying more time for crafting! My love for flowers continues in my card making. Flowers are definitely my favorite images to work with, especially coloring them with Copic Markers or watercolors but I also love trying new techniques and working with all sorts of different stamps and products.

I started making cards in 2010 after years of scrapbooking. Once that first card was created, I never looked back. It's my stress reveler, my boredom buster and my passion. I just love everything about it! The process of taking paper, ink, stamps, markers and other products and creating something beautiful with your own two hands is awesome, isn't it? And then we have the joy of sending that handmade card to someone else to brighten their day. What could be better!?

I am currently working for Simon Says Stamp, running their Flickr group and challenges there. I love seeing all the cards the members share and am always so impressed with their talent! I'm sort of an Instagram nut too. I have always loved commenting on other people's creations. It's just something I think is so important, ya know? We all make cards and share them so we can hopefully get some positive feedback from others, right? So why not spread a little love and encouragement to others?

I'm so excited to be guest designing this month for Concord & 9th and want to thank them for this awesome opportunity! I've had a blast playing with the June release products and hope my cards inspire you.
Lucky for us Barb has created FOUR projects using today's Feature Friday products! These first two cards are created using our Flower Turnabout stamp set. We love that she made these cards look very different from each other, yet used the same stamp! This first color combo is so fun & summery! Barb used the extra images in the Flower Turnabout set to add the dots & leaves around the flowers. The sentiment "hope you have a fabulous birthday" is from the Hope stamp set.
We love the blue, silver, black & white combo of this next card! The shine from the silver embossing is fabulous! The black & white polka dot paper really helps the sentiment 'thank you' pop off the card!
These next two cards were created using our Hope Bundle. This first card shows you how large the flowers are, and how cool they look with the layered stamping! This card is sure to make anyone smile!
Barb used the Hope Label die as the focal point on this next card. We love the peek-through that is created when diecutting the word "HOPE". She stamped the sentiment right on the diecut label piece too! This card could be given to any man, woman or child in your life!
Great job on these Barb!
Next up is Lisa Addesa @iminhaven:
Here is a little more about Lisa in her own words:
Hi everyone, my name is Lisa Addesa.  I started making cards over 20 years ago(back when dies and Big Shots didn’t even exist).  I gave up the craft about 7 years later when I decided to homeschool my three children. Time to create no longer existed, so I gave away all my stamps, inks and papers…sad emoji.   I found the craft again, back in 2009 when my then 18year old daughter brought home her handmade cards from a Stampin Up party she went to with a friend.  I was hooked, more than the first time!!  I joined Splitcoaststampers, started my blog, and have been having SUCH GREAT FUN ever since!  I have had the honor and privilege to be on some wonderful design teams, and design for some great companies!   I currently design for Simon Says Stamp and have been so blessed to be with them for the last four years!  I am so thrilled and honored to have been asked to be a guest designer this month for Concord & 9th…thank you, Angie…and the GREAT FUN continues!!
Now on to Lisa's projects!
How fabulous are these large flowers? They look really great stamped in the corners of the card - it really helps to frame in the card! And that gold embossed sentiment.....LOVE!!
This next card is a great card for anyone, but works great as a masculine card! It is hard sometimes to come up with cards that aren't too frilly! Although those are the flower detail image from the Hope stamp set stamped on the card front, they make for a cool background to the large Hope Label diecut focal point on the card!
Love these Lisa!
Last but not least is Rosali @ilovestamping:
Here is a little more about Rosali in her own words:

Hi there! My name is Rosali! I’m a 30-something crafter, I live in Northern Germany with my hubby and you might know me under my social media nickname ilovestamping. Because I just loooove stamping, ha! :-)

My little addiction with cardmaking started in 2014-half a year later I joined Instagram and met so, so many wonderful crafters and even soulmates there. It’s amazing to connect with people all over the world through this hobby! Stamping and cardmaking to me is not only a perfect way to unwind AND create something pretty but also to spread kindness. You can easily make someone’s day better with a little handmade happy mail!

We think it is so fun to connect with crafters from around the world! I mean, how cool is it to have our products travel all the way to Rosali in Germany?!? In this first project, Rosali did some very cool techniques using the large flowers in the Hope stamp set, and paired it with the sentiment from the Flower Turnabout set! It's so clever to make the detailed images white on those flowers! SWOON! Two cards, same layout, but different techniques & looks!

This next card shows how fun the Flower Turnabout stamp set is! All those fun flowers in 4 different colors! And this color combo - it's so bright & cheery! Adding in the sparkly, red-embossed "HOPE" over the background on vellum is a perfect way to make the sentiment pop, yet still see the flowers underneath!

So fun Rosali!

So, how about all this inspiration you've seen in this post? Aren't you glad you clicked over to see these? Aren't all of these projects amazing? Be sure to leave fun comments here for Barb, Lisa & Rosali to read! Make sure you are following each of them on Instagram too!

A marvelously talented trio and their creativity certainly shines in bringing these C&9 products to life! Once again I’m amazed at how the same products, in different hands, can have such sensational results! Versatility and possibility; two of Concord & 9th’s signature touches!
