We think Nicole from Right at Home is adorable - and so are her products! When she brought up the idea of doing a holiday collaboration, we jumped at the chance! So, what happens when you combine crafty projects from different companies?
Right at Home's Bits & Pieces Winter stamp set was a perfect match to our O Christmas Tree stamp set! We thought the stamped sentiment style from O Christmas Tree worked well with the stamped images in RAH Bits & Pieces Winter! For an added touch, we added a stamped border at the bottom of the card from Right at Home's Holiday Ribbons stamp set. The cute dashed lines match the hat & mittens on the card.
On the card we went for a layered look using traditional and non-traditional holiday colors together. We traced the sentiment panel on to the card front first, then stamped the twigs and berries from RAH Bits & Pieces Winter at random around the traced panel placement on the card front. Next we layered green bough die cuts from C&9 Take A Bough dies. Adding the boughs really brings the holiday feel to life! Add the sentiment from C&9 O Christmas Tree to a bright poppy card stock layer to give it some pop too!
Next, add the stamped (and handcut) bird, hat and mittens from RAH Bits & Pieces Winter around the sentiment panel. The card needed one last touch, and that was bling! Our C&9 Birthday Bling sequin mix (created by the awesome Paulina at Pretty Pink Posh, but found in OUR shop) was the perfect addition as the colors match perfectly (and the mix is exclusive)!
Be sure to hop over to Nicole's Right at Home blog for details on her adorable project (which we may need to copy!). It is such a great idea! We also encourage you to follow Nicole's Instagram @rightathome for more inspiring crafty goodness! And, don't be afraid to mix & match products from many companies. We loved doing this collaboration! When we support each other, we all keep this fun industry alive!
