Tracey McNeely invited us to participate in a fun event that she runs from her blog. This event is called 25 Days of Christmas Tags! Not only did we make a tag to share with you all, but we are one of the event sponsors too! Be sure to link over to Tracey's blog, In My Creative Opinion, for details on how you can win a $25 gift card to the Concord & 9th shop!
When I think of tags, they are usually fairly small. But large, mondo, gifts deserve a cute tag too, right?!? This tag is about 3 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall. I not only want to adorn large gift packages, but I wanted enough area on my tag to showcase our Christmas Cottage stamps & Christmas Cottage dies.
I added a wintry tree-line, the cute cottage with a glittered, snowy roof, clouds and snow drifts using the Christmas Cottage dies. I stamped the little cottage with light gray ink - just enough to show details on the cottage. Notice the tiny wreath on the door? That image is in the Christmas Cottage stamp set too! I inked up "it's the most" and "time of the year" and stamped them around the scripty, glittery die cut "wonderful". That die comes from Wonderful Words dies. It's a perfect addition to this large tag, and helps to make a large statement!
It was fun to use these products to create this fun tag. We had fun, and YOU can too! Be sure to hop over to Tracey's blog to participate in this fun event. You can create & post your own tag(s) for a chance to win lots of prizes! Go! Stamp! Win!
