Ceal Pritchett is back with us today! If you missed her introduction post with us where she made fantastic cards using our new Select-A-Size Edge dies along with Many Mandalas and our Hello Lovely stamp sets, click HERE.
Today Ceal has made two cards with a focus on our new Cuddles & Hugs Bundle! We love the color combo of pink & gold on this first card! It's clean, simple & fabulous!
This second card starts with the same combo of pink & gold, yet adds in a darker tone too! Using our new Triangle Turnabout as the background really works well with the Cuddles & Hugs dies! And, who doesn't love gold glitter paper???
Ceal will be back with us again soon! Keep watching!
Emily Midgett is back with us guest designing today using more products from our April new release! If you missed her introduction post with us, click HERE to learn more about Emily, and to see her amazing projects with Triangle Turnabout and other Concord & 9th products!
Today Emily is using our Cuddles & Hugs Bundle to create stunning projects! This first card would be great for anyone - male or female! We love the black & white with subtle pops of color. And, the white embossed heart background looks great behind the big, bold hugs!
This closer look shows the silver lining around the 'hugs'. Being able to outline the word in another color is the beauty of the double-cut die!
In this next card, Emily paired the Cuddles & Hugs die with our Hello Lovely stamp set! Let's start by saying WOW to her watercoloring skills! Mad props to you, Emily! The thin-line 'hugs' is delicate enough to lay over top of the beautifully colored flowers.
Like I said - stunning, right?!?
For more details on these cards, visit Emily's blog, Sixth Street Sundries! Leave her fun comments to read, and then be sure to follow her beautiful Instagram feed @eamidgett! Emily will be back a couple more times this month, so keep an eye out for more!
Giovana is back with us today sharing more projects she's made using our April release products! If you missed Giovana's introduction post with us, click HERE to learn more about her and see projects she made using Cuddles & Hugs Bundle!
This time she is using our Many Mandalas Bundle to make these beauties! We love the gold embossing and glitter paper! The person receiving this card is sure to have a wonderful day!
We love the shape of this card - not all cards have to be standard size. The square shape really helps the mandala pop! And, using the dies to stack the mandalas is a great way to add dimension!
For details on how these cards came to be, head over to Giovana's blog, Believe: A Place to Praise & Craft. Be sure to follow her on Instagram too @giovana_handmade! Giovana will be back a couple more times this month. Keep checking back!
Jessica is back with us today. This is her second post using our latest April new release products. If you missed her first post, be sure to click HERE to see the amazing projects she created using the Many Mandalas bundle.
Today Jessica has used our Cuddles & Hugs bundle to make two beautiful cards with very different looks. We love the variety she has achieved and how she has paired the products with other stamps and dies.
For this card Jessica has created a fun rainbow background with the large heart image in the Cuddles & Hugs stamp set layered behind the Heartstrings dies and finished off with the Cuddles & Hugs die. We love how the colors of the heart and the large word pop against the black card base!
Jessica's second card uses the Cuddles & Hugs die again but this time it is paired with a beautifully colored backdrop of flowers from our Hello Lovely stamp set. We love the unique way she used the die...yep, take a closer look and you will see what we mean!
Wow! Are lucky to have Ceal Pritchett with us this month as a guest designer! We've followed Ceal for a while now on her inspiring Instagram account @cealp. We love her clean & fresh style, so we just had to ask her to guest design with us using our April new release products.
Here is a little bit more about Ceal in her own words:
Hello Everyone! My name is Ceal and I am over the top excited to be guesting with Concord & 9th. I currently live in the mountains of western North Carolina with my very supportive husband and fur baby Shih Tzu, Willis. We are empty nesters with three adult children, one beautiful granddaughter and a grandson on the way.
I have always loved crafting and fell in love with card making after attending a Stampin Up party. My style is Clean and Simple but I sometimes dabble in Mixed Media and other stuff. You can find me on Instagram as Cealp and on my blog Simply Beautiful
Today Ceal has created two cards using our Select-A-Size Edge dies along with other Concord & 9th goodies! Our Select-A-Size Edge dies are part of our April release. They are more versatile that you might think at first glance.
In this first card, Ceal has use the pretty, lacy edge along with the straight edge in the die set to layer the pennant shape on the card front. She's paired this with our Hello Lovely and our Stripe Builder stamp sets.
This next card uses the stitched edge die to create a chevron pattern on the card front with a stitch on each side of the element. It's paired with our new Many Mandalas Bundle. So pretty!
We love that these cards use different elements, and the card are different directions, but the same type of layout. Makes it quick & easy, yet they look so different!
For more info on how these cards came to be, hop over to Ceal's blog, Simply Beautiful. Be sure to leave her sweet comments to read. You should follow Ceal on Instagram @cealp too! Ceal will be back with us a few more times this month! Keep an eye out!
We are excited to have Jessica Kim as our of our April guest designers. She will be sharing with us multiple times this month using products from our April new release! She is a very talented crafter (especially for only cardmaking for 9 months now!) and we are really excited to see what she creates with Concord & 9th goodies!
Here is a little more about Jessica in her own words:
Hi Everyone, My name is Jessica and I am super excited to be guest on Concord&9th! I loved crafting ever since I was young but I didn't start making cards until recently because I knew I would spend so much money and time on it. But last year I got into stamping and now it's been 9 month since I started cardmaking. Now, I am in love with stamping and I am so happy there is a welcoming crafting community :)
Today Jessica is starting us off using our Many Mandalas Bundle! The bundle includes our Many Mandalas stamp set + Many Mandalas dies, but sold together at a discounted price! Jessica has embossed her little heart out on these cards!
This first card looks so sophisticated & fancy using gold embossing on dark cardstock! Jessica did a fabulous job building the mandalas with the stamp set, and adding in the little bitty images in-between the big mandalas. Those little images really help fill in the card for an overall embossed card front! And, diecutting the 'thank you' with the die on vellum paper is a great way to not hide all that embossing!
This next card is also gold embossed, but on a bright red card stock! Take a look at that diecut scalloped banner edge! It comes from our Select-A-Size Edge dies! If you are unfamiliar with these dies, you need to watch the VIDEO to see all the possibilities with it! We also love that Jessica stamped the bottom half of her card to create mandalas, but in tone-on-tone so it's subtle! Recognize that THANKS? It's from our Give Thanks stamp set! We love seeing people mix & match our stamp sets!
Fabulous cards Jessica!
Be sure you head over to Jessica's blog, JNI Creative, for more details on these cards & be sure to leave her fun comments while you are there - especially as a newbie!
Don't forget to follow her on Instagram @jnicreative too!
Jessica will be back with us more this month! Keep watching! :)
We are excited to have Giovana Smith join us this month as one of our guest designers using our April new release products! Giovana has been an awesome supporter of ours since we launched back in Aug 2015 - which we are so grateful for!
Here is a little more about Giovana in her own words:
Hello, my name is Giovana Smith, born and raised in Peru, currently living in Washington State with my husband of almost 15 years and my 13 year old daughter. I am a stay at home/work mom, I have a little day care, three little ones who keep me busy and active all day.
I always have had a passion for crafts, I learned to knit at a very young age, then cross stitch took place, I created many pieces for family and friends, I even cross stitched a picture of my daughter when she was 9 month old. I discovered paper crafting around 2006, I needed a card for a baby shower and didn't have time to go to the store and I used a baby piece I cross stitched, I glued it to a piece of cardstock and the rest is history!! I found Splitcoaststampers and decided to join the challenges and I met the most wonderful crafty people. I started my blog Believe in 2008 and have been blessed to be part of different Design teams and also been published in magazines several times.
My style goes from Clean and Simple to Vintage, I let my creativity flow and let the stamps lead me, lol. I love to color, it is a way to relax and be stress free.
Hope you enjoy my creations!
Today Giovana has made 3 cards for us all (wow!) using our new Cuddles & Hugs Bundle! We love seeing the same products used, but with different techniques, colors and layouts. It shows how much versatility you can get out of one bundle of products!
Giovana will have more details on how these cards came to be over on her blog, Believe: A Place to Praise & Craft, so head over there. But, before you do, be sure to follow Giovana on Instagram too @giovana_handmade!
Giovana will be back with us a few more times this month showing more of her crafty talent with our April release, so keep an eye out!
Please help us welcome Emily Midgett as one of our April guest designers! We are excited that she will be using product from our April release to share projects with us this month! Not only have we followed Emily for a long time on social media, but she is also part of the Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge Blog design team and does as fabulous job!
Here is a little more about Emily in her own words:
Hi! I'm Emily Midgett. I live in rural Illinois with my husband, twin toddlers, two cats, and one very large dog. I have always been artistic, dabbling in various mediums from childhood and beyond: music (I have a master's in voice performance, but my diploma languishes in storage), watercoloring, drawing, jewelry-making, even cake decorating! After our wedding, I was desperate to find thank you notes that were "just right," and from then on my obsession with cardmaking began to flourish, much to my husband's simultaneous delight and dismay! I used to make cards to keep myself busy while my husband was at work, but now my craft room is my daily escape during naptime. Some people do yoga... I watercolor and make cards. It relaxes me and, I hope, makes me a better wife and mommy. Not to mention the network of friends that I have gained through this wonderful hobby is one of the best, and most unexpected, bonuses. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Concord and 9th, as I have been a longtime fangirl of their products. Thank you for having me!
Emily has used our new (yes, already sold out) Triangle Turnabout stamp along with other Concord & 9th products. When Emily made her projects, we (and she) had no idea the stamp would fly off the shelves this quickly, otherwise we would have waited to temp you with such cute projects. We anticipate getting a shipment in next week, and the following week. Our supplier has been so great to rush orders for us, as we had NO IDEA this would happen, so they are working on rush orders for us which is SO NICE! So, enjoy these inspiring cards by Emily in anticipation of you getting one soon!
In this first card she used the Triangle Turnabout along with our Happy Card Frame dies and Happy Words stamp set. This first card is stamped with one layer of the triangles as the background which looks very cool! If you are unsure of what I mean by one layer of the triangles stamped, check out our VIDEO here!
This second card has more layers of the Triangle Turnabout stamped in different colors and she's paired it with our Celebrations stamp set and Celebrations Card dies. What a fun, bright and colorful birthday card to give someone special!
For more details on these cards, head over to Emily's blog, Sixth Street Sundries. Be sure to leave her kind comments about how cute these are - and please remember that it isn't her fault we sold out so quickly! She just used her talents to share cute cards with us! :)
Be sure to follow Emily on Instagram too @eamidgett because she has a very inspiring crafty feed that you'll love! Emily will be back with us a few more times this month so keep an eye out for more by Emily!
