We are so excited to have Yana Smakula as a guest designer with us this month! Her schedule, and ours, have been so busy over the past few months - but we were finally able to find a month that works for both of us, so her guesting is much anticipated! And, we were thrilled to meet her, with hugs, in person at Creativation (CHA) in January!
Here is a little more about Yana in her own words:
I come from a small town in western Ukraine – Ternopil. Right now my hubby and I live in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Traveling, blogging and photography are things I enjoy the most. I also love to make cards and enjoy trying new products and techniques, experimenting and creating in different styles.
Today Yana is starting her use of our February new release products using our Say Hello stamp set and Say Hello Dies along with our Pop Art Pineapple stamp set! Ummm...the pairing of these products is fabulous! It makes us ready for summer!
In this next picture you'll see that she has die cut the large hello from foam! It gives the word perfect dimension to pop off the card! And, the white embossed 'hello' stamp really looks great on the black card stock.
For more details on how this card came to be, hop over to Yana's blog, Yana Smakula cardmaking & scrapbooking. Follow her there, and on her beautiful Instagram feed @yana.smakula to be constantly inspired!
Yana will be back with us two more times this month! YAY!! Stay tuned...
We are so excited to be introducing Justine Hovey to our guest line-up this month! We were lucky enough to meet Justine, in person, at Creativation (CHA) in January this year! What a sweetheart she is! Lucky for us, she agreed to create projects using our February new release products!
Here is a little more about Justine in her own words:
Hi! I'm Justine and I am super excited to be joining forces with Concord and 9th this month. I am an elementary teacher by day and I enjoy crafting, traveling, and reading. I started papercrafting over 10 years ago and I have been creating cards and YouTube videos for a few years now. I really enjoy being a part of the amazing crafting community!
Today Justine will be "saying HELLO" to us by using our Say Hello Bundle, which is our Say Hello stamp set and Say Hello dies! Justine has shown us how to use the fluffy hello die, the thin-line hello, and incorporated the dashed-lined hello from the stamp set.
These cards are SO fun! For more details on how these cards came to be, you should hop over to Justine's blog, www.justinehovey.com. She's even filmed a video!

Kelly Latevola is back sharing another perfect project with us today! Kelly had two previous posts with us using our January new release products. See her first post HERE where she used our Love Always Bundle, and click HERE to see her second post where she used the stripes from Love Always stamp set and created beautiful watercolor flowers from our Love Notes stamp set that doesn't even include flower images! A must see!
Today Kelly has made this 'perfect' card, again using those cute stripes from our Love Always stamp set, along with our Best Banners stamp set! We love the spectrum stripes with the pops of black stamped on top & the black matching envelope!
The receiver of this card is sure to be pleased! We've certainly been pleased that Kelly was able to guest with us this month! She is so talented! If you are not following Kelly's blog, You & Your Big Dreams, you should go do that now. And, be sure to follow her inspiring Instagram feed too @disp6194!
THANK YOU KELLY!
We have really enjoyed having Anna guest design with us using products from our December 2016 new release! If you missed her previous posts, see them HERE & HERE. She is such a talented papercrafter, and does amazing scrapbook pages too!
Today Anna is sharing a pretty shaker card with our Pretty Petals Bundle! We love the touch of blended color behind the flower, and that she put the outer die cut back on to the card after diecutting it out. She's also used our Birthday Bling sequin mix as the shaker mix inside.
Here is a close-up of the shaker with all the bling floating around. LOVE IT!
Best Wishes is a great sentiment for all kinds of cards: birthday, get well, new job, moving, etc. Did you know you can mix & match sentiments from the Pretty Petals stamp set?
She is truly an inspiration! THANK YOU ANNA!
Cheiron is back with us today! This time she is sharing lots of 'envies' using our Love Notes Bundle - which is Love Notes stamp set and Love Notes Envelope dies. Cheiron has two previous posts too. Check them out HERE and HERE where she made a colorful spectrum card using Best Banners Bundle and a love shaker card using Love Always Bundle.
What we love about Cheiron's projects today is that they are all made with the same base products, but all 6 envelopes look very different from each other by incorporating different techniques, and even adding in our Barnwood Background stamp.
Time to hop over to Cheiron's blog, Cheiron Brandon My Crafty Life, for details on each envelope, including products & techniques (like that really fun marbled envelope!). Be sure to follow Cheiron on Instagram too @cheiron!
We have really enjoyed having Cheiron as a guest designer with us this month!
THANK YOU CHEIRON!
Carly @carlyteeminner has been one of our guest designers using our January new release products. If you missed her other posts, you need to check them out. She made a fun metallic card using our Love Always Bundle in THIS POST, and a cute shaker banner element on a card using our Best Banners Bundle in THIS POST.
If you know Carly at all, she is SO SWEET!! So, her projects today make total sense! She has used stamp sets from our full January new release to STAMP ON COOKIES! Say what?!? You can see the black 'stamping' (with black icing) is done with Best Banners stamp set, and Love Notes stamp set.
How delightful are these? Who wouldn't want these as a treat? This would be so fun to share for Valentine's Day with co-workers, family & friends!
I know I will be hopping over to Carly's blog, Carly Tee, for details on how she stretched her stamps in to cookie decor, what about you? Be sure to follow her on Instagram too, @carlyteeminner, for an inspiring feed!
We have LOVED having Carly as a guest designer, and getting to meet her at Creativation in January was even sweeter! What a fun month it has been!
THANK YOU CARLY!
Anna Kossakovskaya is back sharing more of her paper-crafting talent with us today. If you missed her introduction post, see it HERE. You get to learn more about Anna, and see the birthday card she created a birthday card using our All Year Long stamp set.
Here is a photo of the card opened - we love that the large flowers carry over to the backside of the card too!
Here is a close-up of the inside of the card with the celebratory sentiment adorned with cute little balloons!
Cheiron is back with us today showcasing another fun card! She is guest designing using our January new release products this month! Did you see her first post? If not, click HERE to learn more about Cheiron, and to see the colorful, spectrum card she made using our Best Banners Bundle.
Today she has made a fun shaker card using our Love Always Bundle, and our Happy Card Frame dies! The spectrum hearts at the top of the shaker come from the cascading heart image stamp in Love Always. The LOVE, and the red individual hearts that are scattered in the shaker, come from Love Always Frame dies. It's so smart to die cut a strip of the triple hearts dies to use the fall-out hearts for the shaker card! You get 22 little hearts in one die cut pass!
For more shaker ingredients, and instructions on how this card came to be, hop over to Cheiron's blog, Cheiron Brandon My Crafty Life! Be sure to follow her Instagram @cheiron too! And, if you are in NYC, you should attend one of her in-person classes! That would be so fun!
Cheiron will be back with us for one more post! Stay tuned!
Today Kelly has used our Love Notes stamp set along with our Love Always stamp set to create this beautiful card! You may ask yourself "where did the flowers come from because there are none in these two stamp sets?". Kelly used the solid heart and accent images to create her own flowers. How cool is that? We absolutely LOVE the black & white stripes against the pops of color in the watercolored flowers!
For details on how Kelly came up with watercolored flowers from these two stamp sets, you must head to her blog, You & Your Big Dreams, for instructions - and a video! You'll want to follow Kelly on Instagram @disp6194 too, because her feed is so inspiring!!
Kelly will be back with us again! Stay tuned!
